Every night, after the kids have hit the sack, the parents must move the mythical person to another area. This reinforces the storyline of the mythical person setting off toward the North Pole every night to investigate the kids for the afternoon. What’s more, the children themselves have rules to pursue, as well. One includes the naming of the mythical person – each new mythical being must be named before his or her enchantment can produce results. Also, the children must never contact the mythical being – this means just the parents can contact the mythical person so as to move it every night until Christmas Eve. Contacting the mythical person will deny it of its supernatural ability to travel toward the North Pole. But the kids can without a doubt attempt to locate the new area of the elves each morning, much the same as finding the stowaway.
The way that there is a physical presence- – the mythical person doll- – watching the kids every night will make children, particularly the smaller ones, really accept that they are being watched and implement great conduct. What’s more, the entire thing becomes a fun, yearly tradition!
